Description
The CTU
is a compact Electro-Optical device, used to verify the optical parallelism alignment between several optical instruments (including cameras and lasers), that are integrated in Payloads or in Multi Camera Systems.
This optical verification process is performed by emitting a few collimated optical beams in the IR and Visible ranges from the CTU. These beams are accurately parallel to an on-board laser emitted from the UUT system.
The CTU
can be used in laboratory or in field environment. Its operation is passive and does not requires any batteries or other external power.
Each CTU is customized designed for the specific UUT’s mechanical sizes and interface.
