Four-zone Fiber-optic Intrusion Detection System
Utilizing our new next-generation algorithm – built on our more than 30 years of success and leadership in perimeter solutions, the FD7104 delivers a browser-based embedded interface system for perimeter projects.
Intelligent Threshold: By monitoring noise and environmental conditions, the advanced algorithm of the FD7104 dynamically adjusts the signal event threshold. This ensures top performance even in the most challenging conditions.
Embedded Web Interface: The Alarm Processing Unit (APU) contains a web interface that can be accessed using internet browsers, including recent versions of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox. Through this interface, the system can be calibrated, tuned, and monitored. A full Installation and Operations manual that resides within every processor is accessible through the interface. This interface also allows the user to upgrade the firmware and the manual at their site easily.
Power over Ethernet (PoE): The FD7104 can be powered through traditional power supplies requiring between 12 to 24 VDC and consuming just seven watts. It also has the built-in capability of receiving both power and communications through a PoE or PoE+ connection, greatly simplifying physical wiring requirements.
Insensitive Lead-in Cable: Each zone can support up to 5Km of insensitive fiber-optic lead-in cable. This allows the Alarm Processing Unit to be mounted at or close to the protected zone or located far away. This capability enables the electronics to be mounted in a control room or equipment closet with no active field components. The result: the FD7104 protects perimeters in the harshest of environments, immune to EMI, RFI, and corrosion.
